Welcome to a new kind of Pokemon event. Instead of increasing a timer, unlock new games that I have to defeat to complete this subathon adjacent thing. All contributions during the duration of the event will go towards the next game milestone, and some games have extra goals that will make the runs harder or more interesting.

Extra incentives will count towards their modifier, as well as unlocking games, e.g. getting a shiny would also go towards unlocking snap, brown, yellow etc. Prices for incentives can be changed at any time, due to corrections or because I just feel like it!

Mainline games will be played with the addition of rare candies and level caps whenever possible to keep grinds minimum and the exciting parts of the game coming.

If something goes wrong or an extra incentive isn’t possible when it was supposed to be, please be patient. The number one goal of this event is for everyone to have fun. Loav will do her best to make it right.

Nickname

Loaf will nickname a pokemon whatever you want, or after you! This is up to her discretion, and she is free to veto a name at any time. No Farty Mc Fartface please.

Shiny

Loaf will catch a shiny of the donator’s choice, assuming it is available during main gameplay. Expensive because it is a HUGE time investment, especially in early games (1/8192, or approximately 40 hours, longer than a whole game). I went through and checked which games allow you to catch shinies, as well as how long it might take for each of them and tried to price accordingly, but there is a high chance that for games later in the event the prices will be changed.

Nuzlocke

Loaf will complete the remainder of the run as if it is a Nuzlocke. For an extra $20 any chatters that have pokemon named after them will be banned until the end of the run if their pokemon faints. Bingo + Blackout

Loaf will not be able to count a game as complete unless she gets bingo on a randomly generated board. These boards can have challenges like catching a random pokemon or not going into pokecenters. Some bingo tiles are weirder - like selling a rare candy, releasing a starter before level 11, or having 0 pokedollars. In blackouts, loaf will have to complete the ENTIRE board. Crowd Control

LET THERE BE CHAOS! Loav will turn on Crowd Control for the remainder of her run, and viewers will have the opportunity to trigger many different events and actions! For more information on the kinds of triggers available, look at: https://crowdcontrol.live/games

Archipelago

This is available for the fewest amount of games, and has some of the most unique effects. Archipelago can randomize everything: pokemon, HM’s, Key Items, Badges, etc. It can also introduce new game modes such as Dexsanity, which changes filling out your pokedex to the main method of acquiring new items.

The most unique thing Archipelago is able to do is make a randomized multiplayer run, where your items can be found by the other player. Other multiplayer effects include death link, which is similar to soul link, and adding wonder trading.
